Today, I made production spoons. I need to get money for kiln. These spoons are fun to make. I also fixed a piece I sold to Phat Stuff, Winchester NH. I sold them the little shirlock with wig-wam montage. Yesterday when I was there selling Katie a bunch of spoons and stuff, she asked me to fix this piece or give her another comparable in price. I personally didn't like the piece to begin with. There was no way I was going to give her another piece that was comparable to the price they marked it as. It was over priced. I think I gave it to her for $25 or $30, and it was marked at $70. So I just fixed it!
I personally think head-shops should keep prices a little lower, so they sell faster. It's not like the artist actually gets even half of what a shop sells it for. When I sell glass to the Hempest in North Hampton, Mass they do give me half or more, but that's because I trade them pipes for glass supplies.
The picture of the spoons and onies is about 2 or 3 days work. The spoons I made today are still in the kiln. these are from the last 3 days. I already sold them to Phat Stuff. Along with 4 outside worked shilocks and a couple of bubblers! Rent is coming up!
